Hi Sashi,

Trying to install Dell System Update on a PE R420 running Debian
Stretch. installation was successful.
But launching dsu failed with missing libraries libssl.so.1.0.0 and
libcrypto.so.1.0.0.
I try to make symbolic links :
libssl.so.1.0.0 -> libssl.so.1.0.2 (I have the choice between 1.0.2 and 1.1)
libcrypto.so.1.0.0 -> libcrypto.so.1.0.2 (I have the choice between
1.0.2 and 1.1)
But it failed again with mismatch version of OPENSSL :

dsu: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libssl.so.1.0.0: version `OPENSSL_1.0.1' not
found (required by /usr/lib/dsulib/libcurl.so.4)
dsu: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libssl.so.1.0.0: version `OPENSSL_1.0.0' not
found (required by /usr/lib/dsulib/libcurl.so.4)
dsu: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: version `OPENSSL_1.0.0' not
found (required by /usr/lib/dsulib/libcurl.so.4)

Could you provides needed libraries in your packages in /usr/lib/dsulib ?

It will be nice to have dsu running on Debian too.

Trying on Debian Jessie, installation was successful too, but running
dsu failed with error :

root@chrono-xen:~ # dsu

Verifying catalog installation ...
Installing catalog from repository ...
Fetching dsucatalog ...
Could not download the catalog. Please check the configuration
Exiting DSU!

How to configure dsu on Debian Jessie ?

But more important, Stretch has been available from June 2017 and we are
waiting for a DSU and OMSA running on the current version of this
operating system. On this mailing list I'm not alone to wait for theses
packages.
How can we help ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards Jean-Daniel.
