Why would they be?  It might lessen the RedHat/Dell interplay somewhat, but 
it's not like Red Hat is going to only support POWER and completely drop x86 in 
the future.  IBM aren't that stupid.  They'd lose masses of customers overnight 
doing that.  And customers = money.  And say what you like about IBM, they do 
like money.

It's much simpler, although it's more than just CPU arch.
That is exactly what was thinking, of average customers which I regards myself as one. It is support & services that make that polished product. And since it's not just CPU but all other bits around it and support for those bits(take OMSA as a case), I'll be asking.....  since most of us know IBM, I can safely assume that RedHat/Linux total! experience IBM is (most likely) going to make be the! best on their own hardware (whether Power or Intel), since it's not just CPU.... I'll be asking myself - do still need/want Dell? (again, as a customer = money)
