I bought a used DRAC 4 card from a reseller for my production PE2850. I installed it.
It has passwords set other than the default. Google searching, it looks like I must have racadm command available on the local machine to reset the passwords on the DRAC. I downloaded a knoppix bootable image with DRAC utilities on it and booted from that. The racadm commands all give transport errors. I downloaded CentOS bootable image with OMSA. No DRAC utilities. I would just install DRAC and OMSA directly, but the yum setup on this box is hosed. Maybe I should just rebuild it and get yum working and start from scratch. Argh. Any other way to get that password reset without a major overhaul?
