I tried this for some time on my mac, and I wasn't able to get it to
work either. It appears to be related to the version of Java Web Start,
etc., and not so much about the browser. Even on Linux, we had to point
it to a Java 1.6 version for a 32-bit proc before it'd work. Since
Apple only provides 1.6 for 64-bit, it probably won't work. So much for
the platform agnosticism of Java, I guess. I even tried the Soylatte
version, but it didn't appear to have javaws included.

Long story short, I ended up using ssh to forward X11 stuff from one of
the office Linux computers. It's gonna take some fixes by Dell to get
this working again, and since they don't officially suppot Mac as a
client for the iDRACview code, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Note that while this has never worked for our PE m610s, it used to with
our old m600s. Then a recent idrac firmware update broke it with the
same symptoms as the m610s.
