I have a PowerEdge R300 running CentOS 5.3. Open Manage is reporting that the
RAID driver is out of date. I downloaded the latest version of the driver from
the Dell site and attempted to install. When I attempt to install the mptlinux
4.00.38.02 RPM, I get the following output:
Creating symlink /var/lib/dkms/mptlinux/4.00.38.02/source ->
/usr/src/mptlinux-4.00.38.02
DKMS: add Completed.
Module build for the currently running kernel was skipped since the
kernel source for this kernel does not seem to be installed.
'modinfo mptsas' still shows the old version.
I am running kernel version 2.6.18-164.el5PAE and the source is installed. What
do I need to do to install the new version?
