I spoke too hastily -- your error msgs are not the same as mine
 -- you are no longer using the linux-2.0.35, right?  You must
be at that 2.1.124 you mentioned, right?  Anyway, the problem is
probably not exactly the same as the one I suggested.

You will have to do some digging.  You must determine
which files are NOT copied to the linux kernel tree
at "make kernel" in the ppp src.  You get verbose output doing
that, so it shouldn't bee too difficult.

Then you need to determine why this is so.  Possibly manually
copy them that wasn't copied, and possibly fixing some problems
in the code while doing so, that is, you may have to figure out
what has been updated in the version in the linux kernel tree
and copy some of those changes to the versions in the ppp src
tree before copying back.

This is programming work, I know.  It's the best advice I can
give, since we are not on the same kernel version anymore.
