They are well-known to the ppd mail list. Basically, pppd.c doesn't install
because of a time date stamp problem. You can see this during the install script.
Second there is a comparison of kernel versions to decide on which version of a
structure to use. It picks the wrong one for 2.0.35. Again this is well
documented in the ppd mail list. Details of the list are in the read me with the
source.

Unfortunately, I can't remenber off the top of my head the URL for pppd and I'm
working from a windoze box at the moment.
