check that /dev/modem points to the proper modem port
probably cua0 if you have ps/2 mouse
probably cua1 if you have a regular serial mouse on ttys0
- make sure you also have /etc/minirc.dfl defined
- check /etc/minicom.users too
mna minicom for more info
