I have a problem with dial-on-demand.
I am run ppp as daemon. The ppp interface is configuring normally.
When packets is sent through ppp0 interface, pppd establishes connection
and following packets are sent OK. But packets which
sent before the connection is established are lost.
For example:
I am using fetchmail to get my post from ISP.
When I am running fetchmail, pppd establishes the connection, but
DNS request for ISP's POP3 server is lost. Fetchmail consider
that POP3 server don't answer and exit with error:
fetchmail: POP3 connection to mail.null.ru failed: host is unknown
When the connection is already established fetchmail works OK.
I am using RedHat 5.0 (Kernel 2.0.35 compiled with sources of ppp-2.3.5)
