I am trying to connect to the isp netcom, using redhat 5.2 which claims
that you have to setup the ppp and use the command ppp-on for it to dialup..
It said add/edit these files here.Filename
/usr/sbin/ppp-on
/etc/ppp/chat-netcom
/etc/ppp/options
/usr/sbin/ppp-off
/etc/resolv.conf
this is on there support page at

I do it and it dialsup starts to login and drops my connection..
Unfortunatly i talke dto someone the other night ago that runs netcom on
redhat 5.2 and he claims he did what the web page said and it works.. I
have been trying oh for 7 days now and haven't succeeded on anything.
Any help or comments would be appreciated.
