Problems with uploads > 2Mb

Hi 

I'm running linux 5.2 / 2.0.36

Has anyone ever had a problem uploading files larger than 2Mb ? Until the
progress box reaches that "magic" number, the transfer is going really
well, then the it just stops for no apparent reason. This happens both on a
ppp/ftp upload and using standard sz/rz..

Any ideas ?
