Look for the file README.MSCHAP80. It is in the ppp source tree (at
least it is in the 2.3.5 and I think it has been included since 2.2.0f
at least). Or you could just use the versions that come as part of
RedHat 5.2 which I believe have the MS CHAP80 support already in.

Well, I have PAP, but a number of people have said on the lists that you
can just set up /etc/ppp/chap-secrets exactly the same as pap-secrets
(which in turn you might be able to do by using netcfg and telling it
you want PAP). Also, take a look at sections 13.1, 13.2, and 13.4 of the
PPP HOWTO.
