Thanks for all the info, I have since found enough relavant info to tell me
that the problem is we were trying to run standard analog 56k modems, on
the modem pool, useless as I found out.
If anyone has suggestions of a cheap digital solution (bare in mind we have a
rim/exchange) in the same room our isp gear. I would love to hear what is
available
