i was looking for a small program that can serve as a small ppp server
to serve just 2 modems. i found mgetty but somehow i cant get incoming
win95 ppp users to log in. i've compiled it with -DAUTO_PPP and
uncommented the /AutoPPP/ line in the config file. the pppd is set to
-chap +pap. do i have to set up my /etc/ppp/pap-secrets? another thing,
when i log in normally, i found out that ppp doesnt start but rather
puts the user to the usual $ prompt.
a radius server is out of the question, i have no time to learn all
that.
