Is the LED for link lit on your hub? Well, yes, but I don't think that our local ethernet is really relevant, is it? Our links to the Internet are through two PPP lines... The problem still occurs on the second link even when the network card is removed from our Linux server. Our general setup is to configure our server for one PPP link, get everything working, and then add in a second PPP link with local address 203.55.169.2, and send traffic for specific destinations down the second link. Unfortunately, and we can't figure out why, the above symptoms started, and now the link is useless. We have noticed that sometimes when pppd is started, it drops the modem connection and quits, and the following line appears in our complete.log: Feb 25 20:03:41 central syslog: Exit. This concerns us somewhat, but it mainly happens when we turn on kdebug. -- Kendall Lister, Systems Operator for Charon I.S. - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Charon Information Services - Friendly, Cheap Melbourne ISP: 9589 7781 - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-ppp" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
