I can't get ppp_log to start on a new file. This is what I've done: 1) Placed 'debug' in my pppd options 2) Placed 'daemon.debug /etc/ppp/ppp_log' in sylog.conf 3) Initiated the file with 'touch /etc/ppp/ppp_log' as root 4) 'chmod 622 /etc/ppp/ppp_log' But nothing gets written into the file. On the other hand, I can take an old file that has already been written with ppp_log information and it will add to it fine. What do I still need to do to get a new file to work (so I can help people having trouble getting ppp working by explaining how to get ppp logging going)?
