is there a recommended connection speed for use over a null modem cable? as
in:
pppd /dev/ttyS0 <speed> <local-ip>:<peer-ip>
both serial ports use 16550A UARTs and the cable is only 3 meters long.
at the moment i'm using 38400 baud and getting download speeds of up to
3.7kB/sec, but i'll need a little more than that to install over NFS via
serial link. :)
