I followed the ppp-howto and dialin-howto to setup my PPP dial in server. But when I dial in from Windows 95....the strange problem occur. I set the dial in will launch a terminal screen when connected successful in Windows 95. When my server accept the call, the windows launch a terminal screen which is show (should be) something like in Linux Terminal (e.g. Issue, Login msg). But when I dial in to my server these things were now shown but show something like ASCII instead of normal one. I donno what happened. Is that about PPP problem? Of course....when I first time dial in (I mean when everytime my server just "switch on") It is ok. But after I disconnect the connection and dial in again, the terminal screen show the strange character again (I think is PPP). Can anyone help me? One of my server using Redhat 5.0 and other one using 5.1 my modem is using Hayes Accura 336 Msg modem. P.S. Im just a high school student in HongKong, and sorry about my English is not good.
