Help with compiling ppp-2.3.5

Hello,

    I tried unsuccessfully to compile ppp-2.3.5 on redhat linux 5.1,
using kernel 2.1.118.
Is anyone willing to help me troubleshoot the errors  and finish
upgrading to the new kernel?
