Ai !!!
My problem:
I want to link two networks via modem. To begin, (because the rest
is routing) i want to link two linux machine via modem. I use slackware 3.4.
What can i do ?
I want one machine as a server with PAP authentication and the other as
client.
I want the server to give a dynamic IP to the client when the connection is
established.
My server works like a ISP. What can i do? What scripts to use?
The server must have an IP to the PPP protocol? Who can attribute this IP to
the server so the clients comunicate to its server.
I wrote the srcipts (ppp-on, ppp-off options,...), but there is
something that doesn't work well. I think that ppp is not well
establihed . I want dynamic ip atribuition, but how. The modems
comunicate between them, i can access to the other linux machine(with
minicom), but i haven't established any IP.
I have read the ppp-howto, serial-howto, man pppd, Net-Howto and i didn't
manage to configure it anyway...
Please if you can help-me, tell-me what steps i have to do to configure this
and if you have scripts of the configuration of a linux box ppp server and ppp
client, send me.
I'm in real trouble!!!

Thanks ....
