Why When I use IP Masquerade to dialup to ISP, the pppd log few times per min?

Hi, Im using IP Masquerade to dial up to ISP for about 12 hrs everyday.
Everyday before I go to sleep, I found that there are more than 10
thousands lines about pppd in the log files (/var/log/messages) all of them
are pppd -_-"

can anyone tell me how can I solve this problem? it record few times per
SEC!! :(
