Hi, all. I am new to the linux world but I am quite abitious to set up a multilink ppp connection. What I currently have is a Linux box connecting via ppp to my office RAS system over a single 33.6kb modem. I have two analog dialout lines available and want to utilise both of them to improve the bandwidth using an additional 33.6kb modem. My office RAS system supports multilink and I have been successful with WindowsNT in the past. I have searched for any information re multilink and Linux to no avail. Has anyone done this successfully before or have any hints that might assist me? Any reference to how-to's, man docs, etc would be very appreciated. Additionally, I would like to schedule a period of activity for the multilink connection as one of the telephone lines is used for voice services during the day. Could I use cron to schedule this using different scripts? ie. at 10:00pm bring up the ppp multilink connection; at 6:00am close down the ppp multilink connection; at 6:01am bring up the single mode ppp connection; etc... Any advice greatly appreciated! Pez - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-ppp" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
