Hi, I finally got ppp-2.3.5 installed and working, thanks to all that helped with that one. I originally upgraded it in hopes of fixing a problem with my transfers. It seems that whenever I start a download or anything else that accesses the internet I am unable to start a second program that tried to access the 'net. It seems as if the first thing I do hogs the entire connection and will not share it with another process. For instance I cannot start a download and log onto IRC while the file is still downloading, but as soon as the download finishes the IRC session starts like normal. I've checked the FAQ's and as far as I can tell everything is set up correctly.
