Im using RH 5.0 when I connected my LAN to internet, suddently got disconnect..thats fine, coz I set it re-dial immediately when connection is broken. But then after successful login, I cant get any IP (ifconfig) and keep disconnect when I check /var/log/messages it said sth like modem control 8 bit Error: 7 Bits are 0 something like that Ive tried to re switch on my modem and reboot my server, but the problem still like that but when I put my modem in Win95..using same ISP a/c..it works fine how can I solve this problem :~( thanks thanks thanks - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-ppp" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
