I am new to Linux and would like to have your advice on solving my problem in
setting up my dial up ppp connection to my ISP.

I recently purchased Redhat 5.1 and installed it in my PC. The installation of
the OS was vert smoothy and I did not encounter any problems.

However on trying to log in to my ISP I have not been very successful after
two
weeks of experimenting.

I can dial up my ISP and log in using minicom. I get a message from the ISP
that a PPP session is being established.

However after some time the connection drops off. Please let me know as to how
I should proceed from this point.
