Hi all Can you give a guideline on how to optimise system settings in order to make the K56flex modem work on its full capacity ( how does the kernel know about the hardware? ). I ever heard about "irqtune", what is that exactly ? Regarding MTU/MRU I have found out that 552 / 576 is quite OK. 2nd question: Whilst running Netscape, I sometimes get a lock file created.
