In an earlier posting I said:
I have pppd demand dialling working on the Linux (Redhat5.1CD) Box. ie: it
dials and connect fine when I try to ftp or something from the Linux Box
but if I try that from a win95 machine connected to the Linux Box nothing
happens. I think I have everything set up right in the TCP/IP
properties..... gateway is the Linux Box, DNS is my ISP (not running
named), I can ping the Linux Box from the win95 machine and vise versa.
Wok the hek??

Then Daniel said:
Make sure IP/Forwarding/Gatewaying is in the kernel and to put "proxyarp"
in the ppp/options file.

Now I say:
I already had the IP forwarding stuff in the kernel and I tried proxyarp in
the options file but trying internet stuff on my win95 machine doesn't
trigger pppd to dial.
