I've been having some problems with a modem under RH 5.1. I've finally gotten the modem to connect up within minicom. The new modem will dial no problems within my ppp-on script, however, it will not send the necessary login information to my ISP. Not being real familiar with troubleshooting this type of problem, I'm sort of at a loss. Any ideas on how to see exactly what the modem is doing after it negotiates a connection speed? Thanks.
