Hi folks,
I placed ppp-2.3.5 in /usr/src/ppp-2.3.5. Did configure, make and make
install. Then when I went to compile the new kernel I got the following
message"
make [3]: Entering directory '/usr/src/linux-2.0.35.SiSE/drivers/net'
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.0.35.SuSE/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes

-mailgn
-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=586 -c -o ppp.o ppp.c
ppp.c: In function 'ppp_init_ctrl_blk':
ppp.c:465:structure has no member named 'ddinfo'
ppp.c:465:structure has no member named 'ddinfo''
ppp.c: In function 'ppp_changedmtu':
ppp.c:585: cannot convert to a pointer type
etc.
etc.
I am using SuSE 5.3 with the 2.0.35 kernel. I can see pppd-2.3.5 is
installed from the /var/log/messages when I log-on. Why can't I compile
the kernel now?tyvm
