About getting modems, if you go in some flea market you maybe could find
some old leased-line modems. What is the distance?
Or maybe a mmore effective way is to buy two Appletalk boards and run at
230 Kbps. Not tried it, but hou get 230 Kbps and multidrop connection
easily.
