Try adding the pppd option "asyncmap 0" if you don't already have it. This
has worked for some Zyxel owners. There might be a communication failure
after the ppp negotiations finish and the ACCM (Asyncronous Control
Character Map - the asyncmap setting) is one of the things that can cause
it. Another thing is a speed restriction at some point in the data flow
that causes a buffer to overflow. Check the speed of /dev/ttyS1 and the
/dev/ttyS1 UART speed and configuration relative to that needed for IDSN.
