A computer with two network connections (In your case a modem for internet and some other network connection for internal network). It would probably do just fine on a 386 actually. The kernel firewall code is extremely efficient. I've never spotted any performance degradation from using the built in linux firewall. A P75 will undoubtedly work great. For a ppp connection, you need to get a non winmodem, preferrably non plug and play as well. -Donald Thompson - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-ppp" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
