Not claiming this as an authority, but the portmaster uses radius
authentication.
On Ascend PPP servers you have to make a profile in the auth file that
allows the
user to be dialed in 2 times and if that is true loads the channel bonding
accross
the two serial lines. I am guessing that this will also be true for
Livingston.
Hopefully you will get to talk to the sys-admin at your ISP... he/she may
need to
learn about this and do some updates to the Livingston.
