Hi,
I read only this message so I do not know the previous one. Anyway, I
have ppp-server with
two NIC-s. One got (eth0) the real IP. The alias on this card (eth0:0) got
192.168.2.1 (private one).
Host got the same IP as the alias has. I can connect through ppp to the
alias having client address
192.168.10.x. I do masquerade on alias so any client from 192.168.10.x
can reach Internet or any
computer hanging on my second NIC (eth1 - 192.168.1.4).
Is your problem something like the above ? if you need any details I can
send next time.
On server side is cyclades card, mgetty 1.1.16, ppp-2.3.5. kernel is
2.0.32 or 33. On client side
is the old stuff, ppp-2.2.0f kernel 2.0.32.
I tried different pppd and kernels. I think it does not matter what you
are using.

If my mail is out of the subject I only guessed, sorry for that.
