Hi Graham,
Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, yes and yes. :-) We use IPX at work to mount file systems,
etc. From what I've been told, if I was doing this setup using a
Windows-95 machine (as compared to my Linux box), I would have IPX
enabled.

Really. This is the first that I've heard of this... Granted, I've
only been subscribed to the mail list a few weeks now. :-) From what
I had gathered, when people had posted problems about their pppd, the
answer I saw the most was "upgrade to a newer version of pppd", which is
why I upgraded them. I'll try to find an older pppd.

I followed the install procedure, per the instructions that came
with the new pppd (and kernel ppp) source. Many of the .h files were
overwritten (well, the old ones were really renamed). That's how I
figured out why isdn_ppp.c wouldn't compile -- the old if_ppp.h had the
#define, but the new one didn't. And isdn_ppp.c was *not* updated -- I
don't know if it was supposed to be updated, but the install script
didn't install a newer version of it. Go figure.

I can give it a try -- just gotta find an old version...

Thanks; it's appreciated.
