Subject: PPP and ISDN question
I have a 486/66 running redhat 5.1 and ppp v 2.3.3 5 or whatever comes with 5.1 and
my problem is that my ISDN modem will not connect. It works fine on my Mac and fine on
my 486 under 95. I have a 3com Impact IQ ISDN modem and a 128k ISDN connection. The
ppp under linux works with a supra 33.6 modem I have but the ISDN just keeps
re-dialing. Does any one know of a fix or has anyone got this working on their machine
with the same modem. I really want to get this to work as I need to use this machine
as a router for my other computers in my house (4). Please help if you can. Thanks in
advance.
I had a similar problem with my IQ. I solved mine with S71=1 which forces async to
sync PPP translation. Also if you are using both lines make sure you set S80=1
