i forgot to tell you to add the -v flag to chat in my last message.
this tells chat to be verbose to the logs.
just add it like :
# pppd connect "chat -v -f /et/ppp/chatscript"
we need this to see what happens during the connection phase with
your isp. it doesn't look like you are getting properly connected yet. try
that and send some of the debug to me and i'll see if i can recognise
anything familiar.
