Hello Alvin,
Hey, thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, I am looking for Demand
Dialing for the Client. i.e. I crank up my mail program, click on "check
mail", and the pppd daemon kicks in and dials my ISP, connects, the mail
is downloaded, and after . . . say 3 minutes idle, the connection drops,
and resets. I read some mail, then decide that a URL that I received in a
message from a friend is worth checking out right now. So I crank up
Netscape, enter the url, hit enter, and pppd kicks in, dials . . . .I
suspect you probably get what I mean.
So thanks again for the quick one, but alas, I'm still looking for
instructions for Demand Dialing from the Client side. (Guess I should have
been more specific)
Paul
Sorry I can't help with the Server thing, I know nothing about it.
---End reply---
