Maybe it just doesn't like 542.....I thought that MTU sizes are calculated
by the formula (N * 128) + 40, where N is an integer. Going by this,
perhaps 552 is what you need.
Or am I "out to lunch" here ?? 8-)
I'm using 552 here, and haven't had any problems......
