If Netscape was compiled in different distribution as you
have, it will behave strange.
Or maybe it's "libc" version problem, the executable was not
gunzipped, you don't have libXM (Motif) and the executable
was linked "dynamic Modtif" etc. etc. can be many reasons.
You should check if it's in ELF format (file netscape),
and use "strace" to determine the problem.
