I have set up a PPP server on a SuSE linux 5.3 with a kernel 2.0.36, and
I'm trying to connect from a RedHat 5.1 with 2.0.34. On both I've
installed ppp-2.3.7 (kernel modules + apps), but it doesn't work. The
negotiation goes right, both boxes get the right IP nums, ifconfig says
'up and running' but I can't ping anyone (including the peer). It's quite
strange: connecting with windows 98 it works just fine!
I can't simply figure out what could be the problem. Any idea?
