My ISP requires the use of socksified clients.
Has anyone experienced problems with socks and Netscape 4.0x on Linux?
Are there any currently support socksified clients for Linux (rtelnet, rftp),
and where do I find them?
I tried the "s5" suite of binaries, but they all dump core or complain about
file handles. And executing "runsocks lynx", etc., has equally disastrous
results.
Are there special considerations when using socksified clients and ppp with
Linux?
(I have Redhat 5.1, btw, linux 2.0.35)
Any ideas?
