Hi,
I get the following error when i try to launch pppd as the server
machine:
Apr 28 14:40:44 gibberling pppd[5282]: The remote system is required to
authenticate itself but I
Apr 28 14:40:44 gibberling pppd[5282]: couldn't find any suitable secret
(password) for it to use to do so.
My chap-secrets file has:
-------------------------
username gibberling password
gibberling username password
My options file has:
--------------------
local
lock
debug
lcp-restart 10
ipcp-restart 10
auth
+chap
-pap
gibberling is the server machine.
I want windows 9x machines to connect to my linux server. The
username/password pair is the same as i put in the chap-secrets file as
the pair typed in on the win9x client end.
