I am using Slackware 3.6 and got ppp connection failed. Here is the log
file:

[pppd] Serial connection established
[pppd] Using interface ppp0
[pppd] Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/cua0
And pppd blocks here. I checked with my ISP and they said I am blocked at
user/password level. (i.e. They didn't receive my pap-secrets). It looks
like my
pppd did not send my user name or it is waiting for prompts that my ISP does
not send. But I am not sure.
I use pppsetup to set up my ppp connections. and my ISP uses Ascend Max 4045
for me to connect into.
Anybody know why? Thanks.
