Hi all,
I have a problem i have never seen before, I have just installed a fresh
copy of slakware 3.6 (kernal 2.0.35) and recompiled ppp into it (not a
module), reconfigured lilo when finished and it boots ok and mentions PPP
discipline etc when booting, I then ran pppsetup to setup dial up access so
i can call my isp, but got the serial line wrong, ran minicom, and found
which ttys my modem was connected to, dialed the isp successfully, then
when the isp ppp came thru , dropped out and started my pppd, to which i
got, ppp not supported by this kernal????
any ideas anyone???
