Hi, I'm having a weird problem with fetchmail and ip-down. I haven't figured out if the problem is with ip-down or fetchmail. I start fetchmail as a daemon set to run every 10 mins everytime I connect to the net. When I disconnect I put in ip-down the command fetchmail --quit in order to kill the daemon. The problem is, the daemon is never killed. I don't know if the script doesn't get run or if fetchmail --quit just doesn't work The problem with that is that everytime I log on, for some reason a new fetchmail process is created ( the man page seemed to imply that was not possible) so I sometimes get up to 5 fetchmail daemons before I catch on. The result: A LOT OF MAIL :) Has anyone seen this and/or has a solution for it? THanks --Erico. I'm not an Iranian!!
