Are you talking about the "idle" option?
Okay, but the man page (on the "idle n" option) says that the
idle option "specifies that pppd should disconnect if the link
is idle for n seconds." But that does not mean terminate the
link. I understand "disconnect" to mean "hang up the modem" and
not "kill pppd." Could you tell me what option I have in there
that says pppd should be killed?
