Hi all, I have a problem with a ppp connection over modems between a cisco and a linux box. The modems talk happily to each other with 33600 BPS. The Cisco is a C3640. I am using the aux port. The Linux machine is an old 386 16MHz one, the modem connected to a line with 16550A UART. My problem is that downloads are dammd slow. I only get 0.5K/s. Uploads go with 3.4K/s, which is what I expsected. The Cisco says it drops output packets, and on the linux side an ifconfig says that I have many framing errors. What could it be and how can I debug further?
