I have a small remote access server built on RedHat 5.2 with kernel
2.2.9 and all the updates. pppd was 2.3.7-2, I have just installed
2.3.8-1.
Sometimes, the file /var/run/pppn.pid (where n is ppp device number) is
missing, it happens only 3 or 4 times a day.
There isn't a complete bug-fix change-log in the archive, so I'm asking
if, hopefully, ppp-2.3.8-1 already fixed this or, at least, someone else
found my same problem (and has a solution).
