I'm trying to connect a Red Hat 6.0 (laptop) through ADSL to my corporate
LAN via NT RAS:

laptop (eth0) -> {adsl/Internet} -> RAS server/VPN -> internal LAN

I've read the READMEs and HOWTOs about "auth chap 80", but I saw the
following in my log file:

Aug 14 15:54:54 adsl-kmayer (unknown)[2902]:
log[pptp_dispatch_ctrl_packet:pptp_ctrl.c:531]: Client connection established.

Aug 14 15:55:28 adsl-kmayer pppd[2904]: Connect time 0.6 minutes.

So, is chap 81 a new protocol.

I'm running the following:

[root@adsl-kmayer ppp]# rpm -q ppp kernel
ppp-2.3.7-2
kernel-2.2.5-15

If there are any other hints, or things I need to upgrade, I'd appreciate
any suggestion.

Regards,
Ken Mayer
